- It's 1 bunch of finely chopped amaranth leaves.
- You need Half of finely chopped onion.
- Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds.

- It's Pinch of asafetida.
- You need 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.

- Prepare of Salt as per taste.

- Take a pan heat some oil and add mustard seeds, asafetida, curry leaves and garlic to it.
- Sauté in a little bit and add onions.
- Add little salt and turmeric to it and fry it for a minute or two.
- Add chopped leaves and close the lid.
- Let it cook for sometimes.
- Once the leaves are half cooked add some salt and water if required and let it cook with the lid on.
- Once cooked serve it hot with chapati or rice.
