  1. Chop the onions, tomatoes, grate the carrots and also chop the potatoes.
  2. In a hot sufuria put oil and add onions till golden brown then add your tomatoes till soft.
  3. After the tomatoes are ready add the grated carrots and mix Till they become soft.
  4. When the carrots are ready add some salt and add the potatoes and add water and leave it t boil for 25 minutes.
  5. After the 25 minutes, add the green grams(ndegu)and leave it to boil and mix tilll soft for almost 10 minutes.
  6. Add milk then mix again for 5 minutes then wait till warm and serve for the baby.

Lunch and dinner- Butternut, Matoke, Potatoes, Rice, Spinach, Brocolli, Daal, Ndengu, Chicken, Fish, Minced. First we had to soak the Ndengu beans over night to soften them ready for cooking. We then put the ndengu beans in a pan of boiling water for about an hour or until they are soft. In the meantime dice an onion, chop garlic, fresh tomatoes and fresh coriander. Then fry the onion and garlic adding curry powder.
